Welcome to Gamma Command!

Gamma Command is the headquarters for all Starfleet operations in the Gamma Quadrant. Construction of the station began in March 2387 and has not yet been completed. At present, the station is approximately 70 percent complete with only the administrative, repair, refueling, and most civilian sections finished. The estimated completion is scheduled for mid-2391.

The current sim year is 2390, and while construction on Gamma Command continues, operations within the base have commenced. In addition to regular base operations, Gamma Command:

  1. is responsible for the security of the Ha'dara system

  2. holds the HQ for admiralty operations

  3. features a full repair and service yard and docking system, capable of supporting up to 16 ships

  4. houses Search and Rescue, Scientific and Technical Assessment Teams, a full Starfighter Wing

  5. ...and more!

Our unique premise allows for an open-world environment! Once on board, you're welcome to casually stroll throughout the starbase, or even lead an entire department on your own. You're also free to link up with existing players and collaborate on the various storylines that are developing. You can read more about our world and how it operates here.

"You know what I hate about being an engineer?" Dax muttered to Kennedy without looking up from his PADD. Even though Kennedy had had to assemble the cadets, brief them on their emergency orders, and then get them on task, Dax still had not arrived before she did. Coordinating the…

“Report!” Salire demanded as he burst out of the turbolift.

The officer of the deck, a Bajoran lieutenant commander, motioned the Commodore over to the table. “Krutigtee reports a Dominion battlecruiser has dropped out of warp at the edge of the system and lost control. Life support, engines, and other…

More than a month had passed since Gamma Command held its mixer for its ranking officers to attend. And true to the Admiral's word, Jillian O'Connell once again found herself in the Captain's chair. This was not her first time in command, but it was the first time where it…

Commodore Salire conducted a final visual scan of the reception hall. The Anuran had been assigned to Gamma Command for several months, overseeing both operations and construction of the facility. During that time, the crew had grown from just under a thousand engineers to more than four thousand men, women,…

» Gamma Command Closed

Posted on 06 May 2023 @ 8:18pm by Admiral Zachary O'Connell in Sim Announcement

I'm sure that this announcement is no surprise to anyone. Gamma Command has always been -- and still is -- a great concept. It suffered not only because it was brand new at the time of my stepping away from the sim world, but also because it was hard for me to get back into the groove with this sim.

Many of its concepts will find its way into the Black Hawk in time. But for now, Gamma Command will glide off into the sunset.

I will be leaving the site unlocked for the remainder of May to allow anyone to retrieve any bios and information. I will lock the site in June.

See you all over on the Black Hawk.

» Quick Update

Posted on 19 Feb 2023 @ 2:24pm by Admiral Zachary O'Connell in Out of Character

Hi everyone. I’ll be cross posting this update across Black Hawk and Gamma Command, so for those on both sims, you’ll get this twice. Sorry about that.

As many of you are aware, I’ve been searching for a new job for several months. That search came to an end on Friday. I’m extremely excited to leave retail behind and jump into a new industry. I start in a week, and I will be spending this week doing something I haven’t been able to do in months… RELAX!

That, and take care of some personal affairs.

The sim isn’t going on hiatus, and you all know it’s been kinda intermittent at this point. I will go quiet for a little while after this next week as I settle into a new routine. Once that’s done, we’re going to really get going. Tagging requirements will be enforced after that date, which will be announced in a couple weeks. In the meantime, I ask that you continue to tag as you’re able and let’s keep the sim moving as best we can. I’ve got fun things in store for you all, and I can’t wait to do that.

Thank you all for your patience!
