| Physical Description | Kennedy, while most consider her to be short, is a sight to behold - living up to the saying that one should 'never judge a book by its cover'. Her form is athletic from years of training, exercise and yoga, but she still maintains her feminine curves. Most consider her to be rather top heavy, but she doesn't allow that to hinder her ability to handle tasks and perform her required duties. Her hair has a slight curl at the ends and flows like honey, coming to rest against the middle of her back. When on duty, she tends to wear it in a neat bun at the back of her head to keep it out of the way, but she's been known to wear it down on occasion. Despite residing in space, her skin holds a naturally tan hue. Hazel eyes with golden flecks throughout, shining like the brightest star, sit on either side of a nose that suits her face perfectly. Beneath her nose sit full lips and a very feminine jawline. |

| General Overview | Kennedy takes her duties seriously, but the moment she's off the clock, it's time for her to kick back, relax and enjoy being alive another day. She enjoys the company of those she considers friends, and has even been known to take part in the occasional practical joke or two. Her sense of humor could rival just about anyones. She's extremely laid back, friendly and very down to earth, but she's been known to develop a temper without warning. She has little to no tolerance for stupidity or people who feign ignorance, and often times argues until she makes her point. Often times, Kennedy comes across as being too straight forward and stubborn. |

| Personal History | Kennedy was born on January 5, 2359 to parents whom were heavily involved with the Federation. Being a female growing up, she felt the need to work twice as hard to prove she could be just as good as any male figure. She got excellent grades in school, maintaining a grade point average of three point seven her entire school career. When she was seventeen, and compliments of the Preparatory Program, she applied at Starfleet Academy and was excepted on her first attempt. She immediately knew what field she wanted to go in. Security and Tactical. The same field her father worked through. Early on in life, Kennedy was a bit of a jokester, often enlisting the help of her younger siblings to make it happen. She never did anything vicious that would cause them to get into trouble, but no one in her household was safe. One such incident... When she was eight years old, she decided it would be a good idea to give the family cat a haircut. Grabbing one of her father's razors, she shaved the long-haired feline, leaving patches of fur in certain places while in others there was none. Her father and his dedication to his life, family and career made her want to strive to be the best she could be no matter what she was setting out to do. Kennedy was taught early on in life that through hard work, determination and drive she could and would accomplish everything she set out to do. The motto she lives by - "Hard work never killed anyone. If you can see you, you can achieve it." Growing up, she heard stories from her father, though tamed for his younger audience. Kennedy found herself fascinated, and knew early on that she wanted to follow in her father's footsteps and make a name for herself. At the beginning of her junior year in highschool, she went into the Starfleet Academy Preparatory Program where she learned the ins and outs of Starfleet, often times going on field trips to other planets and exploring the way various vessels operated. When in the Academy, she did just that. Absorbing any and all information that was given to her by her professors and teachers. Most of her free time was spent studying, though she did put a little aside to hang out with her friends and take up kick-boxing, rock climbing and yoga. Kick-boxing became an outlet for her to get rid of pent up agression, stress and tension, while yoga and rock climbing helped her in other areas such as concentration and keeping a good balance within her hectic life. The year she joined the Academy, she met and became friends with Arcturus Raiyn. Though it was his graduating year, Kennedy developed a crush on the much older man, though she kept it to herself. When he graduated, the two continued to keep in touch with one another through writing until she graduated in the year 2380. Her first official tour of duty was on the USS Venture as a brig officer where Arcturus was serving. There she met Lieutenant Tynesha Raiyn and became friends with her as well. In the year 2381, she attended their wedding, knowing that any chance of a relationship with Arcturus was gone. In the year 2386, she made the choice to go to Starfleet's Advanced Training School to further her education, focusing on the Command side of things. While she was far away from ever being in control of her own ship, the need to educate herself in the area was great. After earning her certification in early 2387, Kennedy went into the Officer's Exchange Program with the Klingon Empire. Spending a year among the Klingons was an experience she would never forget, and being a short, female human, she was automatically viewed as worthless and weak. It took a lot of fighting and anger to prove to them that she was just as good as they were if not better. That helped shape and mold her into a determined woman who would never let anyone walk all over her. |
